Hearthstone Global Games is Blizzard’s first attempt at a major national hearthstone tournament. They’re bringing in players from 48 countries to begin a tournament on April 11th, however it has not been without its share of controversy. Most of this controversy centers around P4wnyhof, a German player who left a bad taste in people’s mouths when he acted as both a player and an admin in a tournament where coincidentally his team got a better than deserved seed due to unclear tiebreaker rules. His naming to the German team lead another player to forfeit his spot in protest.
P4wnyhof and team-mate Sintolol have both been banned from the upcoming tournament following a stream of inappropriate comments made between the two players in the days since the roster were finalized.
