After Rant Tirade, Matt “Dellor” Vaughn released by Toronto Esports

An Overwatch pro player, Matt "Dellor" Vaugh, went on a rant that was mostly just him screaming racial slurs into the voice chat of the game he was in. He also happened to be live streaming on Twitch at that time, so the rant was streamed publicly. The clip quickly circulated the internet. Dellor was quickly released from Toronto Esports. Dellor later tweeted that he would be ending his esports career.

Toronto Esports is an organization built on inclusivity, and we have always had a zero- tolerance policy for any forms of discrimination. Immediately upon learning of the incident, the player was interviewed, admitted to the offence, and was notified that his contract with the organization was being terminated.
