CSGO Esports Championship Series Returns

Faceit and Twitch's Esports Championship Series is all set to return for Season 3 with the ECS Open Qualifiers, followed by the Development League and relegation matches.

The qualifiers will begin this Saturday, February 18, with the top two teams per qualifier earning a place in the ECS Development League. The Development League will then follow on February 28 with the top two teams from each region earning their right to fight for a slot in ECS Season 3. They will play against the relegated ECS teams from Season 2: Team SoloMid and CompLexity for North America and Virtus Pro and Fnatic for EU.

Should the teams make it to ECS Season 3, they'll have the chance to face off against ECS champions Astralis, who also won the ELEAGUE Major in January.
